Pat Miles said, “We need to preserve and protect our environment here in Michigan. We are a state that enjoys having some of the most beautiful state parks and natural resources in the world. In Congress, I will not only make it a priority to protect those, but I will also encourage development of clean energy alternatives by supporting research and development tax credits to spur innovation. I am committed to helping the private sector create new clean energy jobs, especially using our excess manufacturing capacity and skilled workers."
Miles spokesperson Amy Fetherolf said, “On environmental issues, there is nobody worse than Justin Amash in the entire state legislature. With his awful record in the State House, voters cannot trust him to protect Michigan’s natural resources in Congress.”
